Social and Environmental Investments
Hidroituango S.A.'s social and environmental investments focus on transforming living conditions in the municipalities in its area of influence, promoting the development of infrastructure, education, health and productive projects. With a significant allocation of resources, such as environmental and social management, PAE and additional investments, tangible benefits have been generated, including the construction of roads, schools, hospitals and housing, as well as ecological restoration and institutional strengthening initiatives.

The Beneficiary Communities
The Ituango Hydroelectric Power Plant, owned by HIDROITUANGO S.A., is today one of the biggest drivers of social and environmental investment in Antioquia. In municipalities in the area of direct influence alone, more than $714 billion have been carried out in works and programs that have transformed their quality of life. Rural and urban roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, housing, aqueducts, productive projects and environmental restoration are part of a historic investment that has made it possible to improve connectivity, expand opportunities and strengthen the local economy.
